Potsdam

The capital of Brandenburg on the doorstep of Berlin, its parks and Prussian palaces a UNESCO World Heritage site that draws visitors by the coachload. Film studios on its edge have made films since before the First World War, and the city today is one of the more affluent addresses in eastern Germany, popular with Berlin commuters.
