Moers

A North Rhine-Westphalia city on the lower Rhine that grew from a small market town into a Ruhr-adjacent coal town and has since had to find a new footing as the mines closed. A moated castle at its centre and a lower-density, greener layout than its Ruhr neighbours give it a somewhat different character despite the shared industrial past.
